Mutual Aid Distribution (WPB)

Dance People is thrilled to announce our new year-round community care drive with M.A.D. Mutual Aid Distribution of West Palm Beach. MAD is small, locally-organized collective dedicated to providing on-the-ground support for the unhoused community in West Palm Beach, FL. They provide a variety of services, including supplies distributions, food shares, career help, and social support. They are funded 100% by the community through donations and offer full transparency into how every cent is spent. Every month, they provide receipts and a monthly newsletter detailing all purchases, which they share on their monthly donation platform (Patreon) and their social media. @MADWPB

BUS PASS PROGRAM

Now our unhoused neighbors can receive monthly bus passes FREE OF CHARGE! Regular bus passes cost $75 a month. While the county offers discounted prices for $15 the program requires extensive documentation, interviews, and already having access to transportation. Reliable transportation is vital  for people to gain and maintain employment, receive medical care, see family and more. Our friends at M.A.D are here to help assist with the qualification and application process.
